Czech Airlines Handling provides passenger, aircraft, cargo and mail handling services for many airlines. These include both Sky Team Alliance network carriers and those of the competing Star Alliance, along with low cost carriers and cargo transporters. With excellent facilities and experienced staff, the company handles more than half of all movements (takeoffs and landings) and passengers at Vaclav Havel Airport Prague each year.
The company also provides cleaning services for buildings and aircraft, both for Czech Airlines flights and contractual carriers, as well as for customers of other handling companies at Prague Airport and elsewhere. It also provides passenger transport services for corporate clientèle and end customers.
Company History
The company's history is closely tied to Czech Airlines. As far back as 1923 it has handled aircraft for Czech Airlines as either a direct part of the company or, later on, a subsidiary. In 1998, cleaning services for aircraft and buildings were split off into a Czech Airlines subsidiary named CSA Support, s.r.o. On January 1, 2010, the company took on additional services related to Czech Airlines passenger and aircraft handling. One month later, its name was changed to Czech Airlines Handling, a.s. On October 26, 2011, Czech Airlines Handling, a.s. was included in the Czech Aeroholding group. On October 1, 2018, Czech Aeroholding , a.s. was included in the Prague Airport group.
